Preparation

- Wash and pit the plums.
- Blend them with a food processor. Alternatively chop them.
- Mix the plums with the spices in a large pot. The pot should not be filled more than 2/3.
- Put in the oven for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. The jam will deepen in color as it cooks.
- Sterilize jam glasses and lids by boiling them for 10 minutes in water.
- Blend and fill the jam into sterilized glasses right after removing them from the water. Do not dry off the glasses or the lids.
- Seal the glasses with the lids and turn them over.
- The recipe for 2 kg of plums (96 servings) fills about 7 jam glasses for 210 ml.
