Preparation
- Serving size:10.50 oz (calculated)Notes: 1 bratwurst with a side of sauerkraut, sufficient as a smaller main meal
- Heat the oil in a pan and brown the thinly sliced onion and pork sausages, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the sausage from the pan.
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir together.
- Add the sausage to the pan.
- Cover and let simmer on a medium to low heat for about 30 minutes or until the sausage is cooked through.
- Optionally slice the bratwurst and serve it on a bed of sauerkraut.
