Preparation instructions
Temp:
Temperature:
Turn the oven on at 150ºC with air circulation. In a large pot, melt the butter, then add the syrup and vanilla and mix well. Mix the other ingredients together and add them to the pot and stir well. The result should be moist but not wet. Spread the mix evenly on a deep baking sheet, but do not compress it. Put the sheet in the oven. Stir it every 15 minutes until it becomes as brown as you want it, then take it out and let it cool (or turn off the heat a bit before optimum brownness and leave it in the oven to cool). Break up larger pieces, add whole nuts, raisins, or other larger ingredients as you wish, and enjoy! The dry ingredients can be adjusted to your liking, as long as the resulting mix is neither too dry nor too wet. Do not add ground nuts or other floury substances, they will soak up too much of the liquid.
